Disneyland Paris

We have had motorhomes for about 7 years now, our first big trip in our new Roller Team Zefiro 696 was to Disneyland and Paris this Easter.

We travelled over by Eurotunnel, this was our first time travelling this way as we have always used the Ferries. This service was easy to use, very organised with great facilities, even has a dog park for your little pooches to stretch their legs. In 35 minutes you are in France…..

We stayed in the Disneyland designated Motorhome carpark, it’s 35 euros a night, it has a free shower/toilet block and you are within walking distance to the main entrance. Facilities are basic, but clean. The good thing about staying in the carpark, is if you can’t stay for the fireworks at 10pm, you can watch them from your Motorhome, an added bonus.

We stayed at a campsite in Paris itself, Camping Indigo. Exceptional value and so very clean with an on sight shop, restaurant and kids play areas, we paid 233 euros for 4 nights for 4 of us.

They operate a shuttle service into Paris central for 4 euros each, this took around 15 mins, then we hopped onto the metro to all the tourist hot spots.

We found it really easy to navigate our way around, it’s a great way to see Paris.

Make sure your satnav is up to date though, as ours hadn’t been updated recently, and it tried to take us into places a motorhome would never fit!!!!
