My first experience of using a motorhome is still my best. In 2007 I travelled with my wife Carolyn and our children to New Zealand’s south island. We were told the best way to see the Island was by motorhome, and from the time we collected it until it was time to come home it was without a doubt the best experience we have ever shared as a family. The motorhome gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace, and with the benefit of always having the camera at hand to capture all our adventures.
From helicopter rides up into the mountains for snow ball fights, whale watching by plane, monster trucking just outside of Queenstown or horse riding to the top of a mountain for a pic nic, all this was made possible because of the freedom our motorhome gave us.
My most endearing memories will always be my children’s close encounter with a penguin and my wife and I bungee jumping from Kawarau bridge.
